Chalet House Netarhat :- "Chalet" is a French word which means a wooden dwelling .This is a historical building of Netarhat is made up of logs of wood . it was established during the period of Sir Edward Gate, L.G of Bihar and Orissa in early 20th Century. initially, it was used as summer exodus by British Officer for discussion with local influential village chiefs. Now it is being used as the camp office of D.C Latehar.
शैले हाउस:- शैले फ्रंच भाषा से व्युत्पन्न है जिसका अर्थ होता है काष्ठ का घर | नेतरहाट स्थित यह ऐतिहासिक भवन काष्ठ निर्मित संरचना है। बिहार एवं उड़ीसा के तत्कालीन लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर सर एडवर्ड गेट ने इस भवन का निर्मिन बीसवीं शताब्दी के पूर्व कराया था। जिसका उपयोग ब्रिटिश अधिकारीयों द्वारा ग्रीष्मकालीन भ्रमण के दौरान स्थानीय ग्राम प्रमुखों से विचार - विमर्श के लिए प्रशासनिक शिविर के रूप में किया जाता था | अब यह डी.सी लातेहार के शिविर कार्यालय के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है|
