मिर्चिया जलप्रपात :-पलामू वन्यजीव अभयारण्य के अंतर्गत यह जलप्रपात गारू से 3 कि.मी. की दूरी पर स्थित है । यह स्थान बहुत ही मनोरम एवं एकांत में है, जहां झरने की कलकल ध्वनि पहाड़ से बहती हुई सुनाई देती है । यह जलप्रपात पर्यटकों के लिए पिकनिक मनाने के लिए एक उत्तम स्थान है। 

Mirchaiya waterfall:- Mirchaiya waterfall is located 3 km from Garu block of Latehar district. It is situated within the Palamu tiger reserve area. The mirchiya Falls is small comparatively to other waterfalls in Jharkhand, but the beauty and location does place it among the best. The ideal time to visit this place is during the monsoon season.

Latehar district

Latehar district came into existence on 4th April 2001. Previously It was a part of Palamu District of Jharkhand State. it is situated between 84°28'. East latitude 23°44' north latitude and is about 105 km North West of Ranchi and 65 km from Medininagar (Daltonganj).The geographical area of the district is 3651.59 km². The elevation of the area is around 375m. to 550m. but its highest point is approximately 1,127 meters above mean sea level at its main tourist destination Netarhat.
Latehar District is Known For voluptuous greenery, waterfalls and multifarious culture . Nature has been Extremely generous to Latehar. It is an extremely pleasant place to visit for tourism. Hypnotizing Hills, Betla national park ,wolf sanctuary, waterfalls, temple, festival, forts, rivers and countless scenic sites make Latehar an ideal destination for tourist.

How to reach :- Ranchi is the nearest airport from where Latehar is 110 km. Bus services are also available from Ranchi ITI Bus stand.
Transport - Four wheelers can be hired from travel agencies for sigh seeing.

Upper Ghaghri waterfalls, Latehar

Upper Ghaghri waterfalls:- It is  a small waterfall, situated 5 km from Netarhat. It is in the Latehar district of Jharkhand.  .There is a rock that divides the cascade into two streams. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery which makes it a perfect location to have a family picnic on the weekend offering the family a different screen from the usual. The falls are best during the monsoons when the river is flooded.            

अपर घाघरी जलप्रपात :-   यह जलप्रपात नेतरहाट से 5 कि.मी की दूरी पर घाघरी नदी पर स्थित है| इस  जलप्रपात के आसपास घने वन विद्यमान है, जो कि उसकी प्राकृतिक सौंदर्यता को और बढ़ा देती है। यह पर्यटकों के पिकनिक मनाने के लिए एक उत्तम स्थान है।  मानसून के दौरान इसका प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य और भी निखर जाता है| 

Sugga Bandh Waterfall,Latehar

सुग्गा बांध जलप्रपात :- यह जलप्रपात महुआडांड़ से 28 किमी पीछे और बारेसांड़ से सात किमी आगे  बेतला- महुआडांड़  (SH-9) सड़क से 1.5 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। अपने अंदर असीम खूबसूरती समेटे सुग्गा बांध के चारो तरफ ऊंची पहाड़ियों का दृश्य पर्यटकों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करता है। यहां 80 फीट की ऊंचाई से पानी की धारा चट्टान पर गिरती है। पानी की धारा के कारण चट्टान एक अलग शक्ल में नजर आता है, जैसे मानो इन पत्थरों में नक्काशी की गई हो। बेतला नेशनल पार्क से इसकी दूरी लगभग 57 किमी की है। यहां निजी वाहन से आसानी से पहुंचा जा सकता है। 

Sugga Bandh Waterfall:-  It is located on the route of Betla to Netarhat. Suggha band is surrounded by hills which makes it different from other tourist destinations. The cascade falls from the height of 80 feet on the rock. Sugga bandh is approximately 57 kms away from Betla National Park. You can come here by your personal vehicle also.

Indra waterfall Latehar

Indra waterfall:- The Indra Waterfall is near Tubed village of Latehar District in the state of Jharkhand. The area is covered by dense forests, mountains, and rivers. This is a wonderful 30-foot waterfall that can be best seen during the monsoon season. You could also visit the tubed cave and tubed Dams, which are close by to the waterfalls.

इंद्रा झरना :- लातेहार  जिले के तुबेद  ग्राम में यह जल प्रपात स्थित है| यहां एक पहाड़ी नदी करीब ३०  फुट की ऊंचाई से नीचे गिरकर एक कुण्ड में समाता है  |  यह जल प्रपात दोनों ओर से घने जंगलों से घिरा हुआ है। यह बारहमासी जलप्रपात है, इसलिए गरमी के दिनों में इसकी सुंदरता बरकरार रहती है । परंतु बारिश के सीजन में इसका प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य और भी निखर जाता है। इसके निकटवर्ती पर्यटन स्थलो में तुबेद गुफा , ततहा पानी अदि प्रमुख है |

Lower Ghaghri Falls is located10 Km from Netarhat in Latehar district in the state of Jharkhand. It is the 33rd highest waterfall in India. The forest around the Lower Ghaghri Falls is so dense that even sun rays find it difficult to pierce through. The water falls from the height of 320 feet from the cascade. The sound of falling water makes the surrounding musical.

लोअर घाघरी  जलप्रपात :- लातेहार जिला के विख्यात दर्शनीय स्थल नेतरहाट से 10 कि.मी. दूर उत्तरी दिशा में यह जलप्रपात स्थित है । यह राज्य का सबसे ऊंचे जलप्रपातो में  एक है | यहां घाघरी नदी का जल प्रवाह लगभग 320 फुट ऊंचाई से नीचे गिरता है। यह स्थान बहुत ही मनोरम एवं एकांत में है, जहां झरने से  कलकल गिरता पानी  आसपास के वातावरण को संगीतमय बना देती है। साल के  सधन वृक्षों एवं पर्वत श्रृंखलाओं के मध्य स्थित इस जल प्रपात से गिरने वाली विशाल जलराशि पर्यटकों का मन मोह लेती हैं, बरसात के मौसम में इसे देखना रोमांचकारी अनुभव होता है।

Lodh Falls:-The Lodh Falls,also known as Budhaghaugh falls ,are located at 10 km North-west from the headquarter of mahuadanr block in Latehar district  . It is the highest waterfall in Jharkhand and the 21st highest waterfall in India. The falls are located on the Budha River within the Chota Nagpur Plateau forests. The falls measure a whopping 143 meters (469 ft) and make a thundering sound that could be heard from over 10 KM away. This is a reason enough to visit the falls during the peak of monsoon. Due to its deep location, you must have private transportation or hire the vehicle to visit the falls. 

लोध जल प्रपात:- महुआडाँर प्रखंड मुख्यालय से लगभग 10 कि.मी दक्षिण-पश्चिम में ओरसापाट ग्राम  के निकट लातेहार जिले  में स्थित यह झारखण्ड का सबसे ऊँचा जलप्रपात है, और देश भर में इसका स्थान 21वां है। यहां बुढा नदी का जल लगभग 465 फिट की ऊंचाई से नीचे गिरता है। प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य से परिपूर्ण सघन वनों, चट्टानों आदि  को पार करती हुई इस जल प्रपात से गिरने वाली विशाल जलराशि पर्यटकों का मन मोह लेती हैं | बुढा घाघ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध लोध जल प्रपात वैसे तो प्रत्येक मौसम में दर्शनीय है, परंतु वर्षा ऋतू में इसे देखना आधिक रोमांचकारी होता है। बारिश में ऊंचाई से  गिरती हुई  विशाल जलराशि की गर्जना रोमांच और सिहरन पैदा कर देता है। यहाँ पन बिजली परियोजना के द्वारा विद्युत उत्पादन की पर्याप्त संभावना हैं|

Kanti Waterfalls:- It is located around 47 km from Latehar and 66 km from Ranchi. It is surrounded by dense forests which enhance its natural beauty . it is nearby Kuru block. Tourists can reach this site by a four Wheeler 7 km from the Ranchi Daltongunj main road (NH39).

कांति जल प्रपात :- कांति जल प्रपात  झारखण्ड राज्य के लातेहार  ज़िले में स्थित है। यह झरना लातेहार  से लगभग 47 किलोमीटर और रांची से 66  किलोमीटर की दूरी  पर रांची- मेदिनीनगर  सड़क से सात किलोमीटर की दूरी  पर सेन्हा ग्राम में  स्थित है। इस ज़िले को प्रकृति ने अपनी अमूल्य निधियों से सजाया और सँवारा है। यहाँ चारों ओर प्रकृति के मनोरम दृश्य बिखरे पड़े हैं । इस जल प्रपात  की ऊँचाई 200 फीट से भी अधिक है । कांति झरना मानसून के दौरान पर्यटकों को ज़्यादा आकर्षित करता है।
